another update:

Two of my Avaran character's; the gold-brown ave; Ascendant Shear Arios, and the black/white ave: Ael Syal

Talon's Reach is vast, here the only hint of civilization is the solar collection towers built on the open plains, harnessing the free and clean energy of Avar's sun via laser beams from arrays of orbiting satellites.

this was to be a picture based on a part of a story I've been working on,(going on for years now..) when they visit this area looking for survivors after a vicious Strige attack on their planet and colony worlds, leaving it a burnt lifeless wasteland, which is why Shear is brandishing a taloarc weapon but decided not to, and show it in it's unspoiled state.

thanks, thought i'd try something a little different, lol making outfits for avians i found is a little tricky; i think the helmets were based on those aero cycle helmets

The problem is how much avians in fact need outfits xD. I think You made a great job designing them. Those helmets look comfortable.

oh i meant as in the style of the drawing, in a more cartoony sort of style. But i'm glad you think the outfits look okay. when i drew it, i had in mind a sort of power flying suit with a sort of jet pack, as an aerial sport.

I just notice that the blade he is holding looks like my Oc Herkras Blade o3o the only diference is the blades on the sides are down making something like a "A" instead of a "V"

ah, yes, that's a taloarc, its actually supposed to be an electron particle beam cannon-although realistically i doubt it looks like one- should perhaps be longer like a staff-so probably redesign at some point. Those aren't actually blades, lol, although i must admit that they look like them-they're suppossed to be magnetic/shield generators to protect the user against radiation backscatter when the weapon is fired.

o3o but yeah it looks like a wirts blade like mine x3 you should add the staff on it and do the center "blades" a bit large so it can be like the part when the beam comes out

thanks, well i did come up with a similar weapon-not for these guys though- it was for another of my avian character species - a weapon called the scyther,seen here: [link] that i not long uploaded.
